Supporting Burnaby Youth Society (SBYS)

Supporting Burnaby Youth Society (SBYS) is managed by a committee of counsellors and teachers. We believe that participation in a wide range of recreational, social and leadership activities will:

  • foster the development of healthy attitudes;
  • encourage and enable young people to make healthy lifestyle choices;
  • improve self-esteem and self-confidence;
  • assist in strengthening personal values including respect for one’s self, others and personal property.

Burnaby Children’s Fund (BCF)

Burnaby Children’s Fund (BCF) began in 1991 in response to the identified needs of Burnaby children and their families. We are now in our 28th year of service and despite the increased support provided by our government we continue to have children come to school hungry and without adequate footwear and clothing.

We are beginning our annual fundraising activities and hope that you will support our efforts.
